The first time I turned on the C3, I was impressed with the high resolution screen - although it is not a full HD 1080 display. On the downside screen lacks a little contrast and the colors are not as vivid as other phones. I always had the feeling that the images looked a bit washed. At first I thought it might be the default device settings but could not find a place where I could adjust the contrast. The only option available is the brightness and white balance. None of these appeared to solve the problem.

The larger screen really comes in handy when surfing the web or watching YouTube videos, but can be annoying to try to work with one hand. If you are a person with smaller hands, you may have problems with this phone, if you are not prepared to use both hands.

Luckily Sony took the big screen size into account when placing the buttons to allow easy access when using the POWER button or volume controls. These controls are perfectly matched for use only the lower half of the phone to accommodate the use of one hand. This is ideal when you're a right-handed person; Left handed people might find cumbersome to use.

The camera button on the side really adds to the capabilities of photo capture phone. By long pressing the camera button you can take your phone directly from standby mode feature, as with all other modern devices Xperia. It even has the ability to change the configuration of the phone - not just to unlock and open the camera application, but also to take the picture instantly. What it boils down to is really what manufacturers add the device in terms of software, how your software uses the hardware of a new attractive and how the operating system runs.

Sony implemented platform really nice camera; is extensible and leaves you with just what Sony wants you to have, but will it be enough to attract developers to write new plugins?

The default settings of the phone might not appeal to everyone, but most of these can be changed to suit your needs. The hardware is not that of a star is, but does not disappoint. The battery lasts for a decent period of time, even when the phone is used in excess. Storage can be easily expanded if more required.

Sony has done a good job delivering a phone that provides for a niche market. But will it be enough to differentiate itself from its competitors? That's for you to decide.
